Overview

The Socket 754 CPU's are the first 64 bit AMD processors to be released, they come in two flavours, Athlon and Sempron and the majority of retail releases range from 2600+ to 3700+, all Single Core. These Processors succeed AMD's Socket 462 CPU's and are the first to be released in the "lidded" package, which dramatically enhances the cooling properties.
